This mod also comes at a time when these old Rainbow Six games are not available from any official seller, which means this is likely one of the only reliable ways to experience these classic games. Those missions, which only featured Korean text, have been translated to English for the first time. The missions included in the mod come from the original Rainbow Six, Rainbow Six: Rogue Spear, the expansions for those games, as well as Rainbow Six: Take Down - Missions in Korea, which was previously only released in South Korea. This mod, Rainbow Six: Black Ops 2.0, created by modder Menrva, combines missions from Rainbow Six games and their expansions from 1998 to 2001. The original Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six was released in 1998, and the series continues to this day, with the most recent Rainbow Six Seige in 2015.
However, thanks to the modding community, the two-decade-old Rainbow Six series now has an “Ultimate Edition” that includes over fifty missions from several games. Not every game is lucky enough to be re-released or upgraded for modern audiences.
